Nissan’s new radical Juke is no doubt going to create a number of mixed opinions when it comes to the vehicle’s exterior styling, but no one can argue that the compact crossover is a very enjoyable vehicle to drive.
Despite its unique exterior, the Nissan Juke has a solid foundation as it is built on the car makers B segment platform which also is featured beneath the Nissan Versa and Cube. The Juke also offers great suspension tuning which not only delivers crisp steering but a reasonably quick turn in and despite the Jukes elevated stance body roll is definitely kept in check.
There is also a very impressive oomph packed under the Nissan Juke’s bonnet. With a hearty horse power of 117 at 6000 rpm the engine which is found in all Nissan Jukes, regardless of trim level, transmission or drive configuration, is definitely nippy.
Available in a six speed manual front wheel drive model, many people are opting for the CVT model as this allows drivers to add all wheel drive.
The Juke is also very well equipped with its centre controls which are easy to use, Bluetooth, an iPod interface, auxiliary jack, radio controls which are steering wheel mounted, power windows and locks and air conditioning which all come as standard.
